Nicolas Wagener's Story

Nicolas Wagener speaking profile picture

Mr. Nicolas Wagener has a unique and special life story.

After joining and completing the military service, Mr. Wagener embarked on a career as a police inspector. During one of his field operations he was faced with an event that changed his life from the core. Due to the traumatic event involving shooting, hewas diagnosed and suffered from depression and had to retire due to his severe condition in the year 1989. For many years Mr. Wagener suffered in silence and on traditional medication that made him numb and almost unable to function properly. In 2002. Mr. Wagener was treated in a clinic and this treatment weakened him even more due to horrific side effects of certain i.v. antidepressants and benzodiazepines. After several months of agony and despair he collected all his might and decided to embark on an independent research on curing his unfortunate condition. He checked himself out of the clinic and walked out literally on his hands and feet, but with a mission to cure himself.

To make things even more interesting Mr. Wagener’s son, Eloi, was diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as a child and institutionalised. Mr Wagener was curing himself while searching for a way to help his autistic son life condition improve for the better.

His research lead him to cannabis medicine plants and the results were astonishing. He was able, not only to function properly, but get rid of all doctor prescribed medications, and have more energy and life force than ever before. After two years he was able to function without cannabinoid medication, and he understood that this was his life calling - to do pioneer work in cannabinoid medical therapy.

In 2004 he joined the International Association for Cannabis as Medicine. In 2005 he met dr. Tod Mikuriya (leader of the proposition 215) in Leiden, Netherlands. Dr. Mikuriya, a pioneer as a doctor of medicine and a psychiatrist specialising in treatment of ADHD and related illnesses began coaching Mr. Wagener for the treatment of his sons ASD medical condition.

His son was treated with Dronabinol, recommended by a German medical expert dr. Robert Gorter, with only moderate results in the neurological condition of this young boy.In 2006 Mr. Wagener added CBD extracted from industrial hemp to Dronabinol; the combination of these two cannabinoids helped substantially in easing his son’s ASD condition. At that time only few scientists of IACM believed that the master ‘molecule’ in the medical use of cannabis is not only THC, but also and especially the non-psychoactive cannabidiol CBD, a master molecule more potent than any other on it’s own.

Improvement of the neurological condition of Mr. Wagener’s son could be classified as miraculous and seen in his writing, communicating and behaving, most notably lessening of aggressive behaviour and having deeper personal relations, as well as improved cognitive performance. Therefore Eloi Wagener was able to leave the institution he was living in and start living at home a quality life no one ever imagined possible before, and was no more a danger to himself and others.

In 2007 at The International Association for Cannabis as Medicine in Cologne, Germany Mr. Wagener met professor doctor Raphael Meshoulam and presented him the ‘abstract’ ASD puberty brain protection by CBD. Following this Mr. Wagener was invited to a congress for ADHD and Turret Syndrome by prof. dr. Müller-Vahl, chief of psychiatric division of Medizinische Hochschule Hannover and president of the IACM at that time, in the name of MHH to present his findings on the treatment of ADHD. Mr. Wageners presentation focused on: "Cannabinoids: A possible treatment for people with ADHD".

Two years later in 2009 at the at the same International Association for Cannabis as Medicine in Cologne, Germany Mr. Wagener met Dr. William Courtney from California that presented a study on curing cervical cancer (caused by HPV) with non psychoactive cannabinoids in the form of liquid know by the name of Courtney Juice. During this conference Mr. Wagener presented his work also in curing cervical cancer by CBD to dr. Courtney. This work was approved by Luxembourg State Laboratory. Dr. Courtney was impressed and long term relationship was established. Dr. Courtney spent a lot of time working with Mr. Wagener in Luxembourg and then invited him to California. From 2010 to 2015 Mr. Wagener spent a lot of time in California with Dr. Courtney in the pioneering work of curing cancer with non psychoactive cannabinoids (CBD).

During this time Mr. Wagener and the Californian team developed a special strain of high CBD and gave it the name ACDC (ACid Dietary Cannabinoids), highly potent CBD strains. There are a number of variations of ACDC, 22:1 being the highest CBD strain ever born.

Mr. Wagener holds all the rights to ACDC strains in Europe, registered as Intellectual Property under the name of CCW1 and CCW2.

In 2013, Mr Wagener founded the company Eveil Sante, which turns Mr Wagener's research into products, and is keen to collaborate with doctors.

On the 28.02.2019, a French television program released a documentary about cannabis, in which Mr Wagener also appears. We would like to share it with you.
